High School Baskeball Coach Arrested For Obscene Conduct At Costco & Walmart

Kyle Dennis, the head basketball coach at Capital High School in Boise, Idaho was arrested on Monday following complaints of obscene conduct. The obscene conduct? Allegedly fondling himself at the local Costco and Walmart.

Court documents said that Dennis “knowingly engaged in obscene conduct…by manipulating his penis with his hands while walking around a Costco store with an erection.”

Look, the free samples at Costco are great and all, but they’re not so fantastic that it’s worth doing that over. Their membership might come with certain privileges, but going around the place touching yourself is not one of them.

And about that hair? Let’s just say we’ve all seen There’s Something About Mary.

Two Great High School Buzzer Beaters: Video

Here are two great buzzer beaters from recent high school basketball tournament games.

In the first, we have a matchup between Wisconsin Dells and River Valley in Wisconsin. The score was tied, and Wisconsin Dells High School senior Jade Royston missed two free throws that could have given his team the lead. That’s a moment that could have haunted him the rest of his life, like Gordon Bombay missing that penalty shot in The Mighty Ducks. But after River Valley made a shot to take the lead, Royston nailed a half-court shot to take the regional title.

Next, we have a video from Ohio. During a game between Dayton Christian High School and Arcanum, Dayton Christian’s Casey Weber chucked the basketball toward the hoop at the end of the 3rd quarter from 90 feet away and made it.

Someone test those basketballs for magnets.

By now you have probably seen the YouTube video of the high school basketball fight in Alabama between Carver-Montgomery High School and Valley High School. Here is the extended, director’s cut of the fight, lasting a full 5 minutes and 45 seconds.

Get your popcorn ready, and let’s watch this fight in all its glory.

The highlights:

0:04 – The brawl kicks off and some guy in a white shirt comes out of the crowd and starts pounding on someone

0:20 – The fight moves to the center of the court, as a shirtless guy dive punches at someone. This move is only slightly worse than Zach Randolph’s open fist punch.

0:24 – We have another fight entrant as Mr. Green Shirt enters the fray. Unfortunately for him, his pants start to fall down at the worst possible point. King Hippo shares his pain.

0:30 – #1 from the Orange Team dives on the basketball court for no reason. He then runs away.

1:20 – A “Think Pink” breast cancer awareness banner is seen in the background. Looks like some people are “seeing red” instead of “thinking pink.”

1:59 – After a retreat to the locker room, we’re magically transported back to the stands, where the fight is continuing.

2:20 – People are held back, and there’s a lot of yelling and fingerpointing. The cops look thrilled to be there.

2:58 – A guy sits in his seat on his cellphone. Is he even aware of what’s going on around him?

3:02 – Mr. Orange Sweatshirt moves down to the first row. Hey, why not take advantage of this brawl to score yourself some prime seats if the basketball game continues?

3:13 – We see a destroyed bench. Was Matt Foley there?

3:20 – More fighting in the stands. One thing is clear from this brawl: don’t mess with anybody wearing a white shirt.

3:34 – Mr. Green Shirt is back for more, and he’s still having problems with his pants. Dude, either just take them off, get a belt, or stay out of the fight. You aren’t going to win with one hand swinging about and the other one keeping your jeans up.

4:45 – Some of the combatants start to be led away in handcuffs.

5:28 – Two dudes hug. Awww. A sentimental moment as many in the building realize this might be their last high school basketball fight. Only a lucky few might move on to college basketball fights. Even fewer might get to be in an NBA fight. Others might get to fight over in Europe.

5:38 – A cop leads a fighter away. Or more accurately, he grabs on to the back of his shirt as he walks him through the gym.

5:45 – FIN

Both teams have been booted from the AHSAA Central Region Basketball Tournament by the Alabama Athletic Association, and so far 11 people have been arrested. No word on how Mr. Green Shirt fared.

What is wrong with people in Long Island this year? First, they trampled that poor security guard in a Wal-Mart just to save $2 on a pair of socks. Now, another security guard has been attacked, this time at a high school basketball game.

Shaquana Beamon is facing a count of 2nd degree assault after allegedly biting the security guard, who was trying to break up a crowd following a game at Roslyn High School. As if being bitten wasn’t enough, another fan punched him in the head.

I’m definitely not going to Long Island any time soon, not that I would ever want to go there anyway.

A former charter school boys basketball coach is accused of regularly hitting players in the groin, exposing some to pornography, and pouring water on them in cold weather, according to court records.

And just when you thought the old Thailand joke had faded …

A student said Burr would ask them, “What is the capital of Thailand?” When they would answer “Bangkok,” he would hit them in the groin.

It gets worse …

One student sought medical attention for a groin injury he attributed to the coach’s strikes and later had scrotal surgery. Other students told police the strikes to the testicles were “the kind of hits that made you lay down” or “made you stop for a minute to catch your breath.”

Bobby Knight, you look like a saint today.
