CFL Player Arland Bruce Celebrates Touchdown By Acting Like Michael Jackson: Video
If you are a football player who wants to do an end-zone celebration in memory of Michael Jackson, there are 2 appropriate methods of dedication: Either do the Moonwalk or the dance from Thriller. Any other “celebration” is quite likely going to be in appropriate.
The CFL season kicked off last night, and Toronto Argonauts receiver Arland Bruce got some unwanted attention for the league by scoring a touchdown against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, then falling down, playing dead, and acting like he was being buried like Michael Jackson.
Nobody seems to have enjoyed Arland Bruce’s tribute. The CFL is looking into punishing him more, in addition to the 2 “objectionable conduct” penalties he already received.
Argos head coach Bart Andrus said, “I made the mistake of telling him in camp that once he got to the end zone, I didn’t care what he did, but he’s straight with it now and I think next time around he will celebrate in an appropriate manner.”
Yes, next time he’ll just pretend to be Ed McMahon, Billy Mays, or Farrah Fawcett.
