Four Teens Charged With Sexually Assaulting Flag Football Teammate
The coach of the Walker Middle School flag football team noticed something was wrong when the boy acted strangely towards some teammates during a game. When the coach took him aside, the boy said, “I’m just sick of this.”
The kids who are blamed for this horrific act have been arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Randall John Moye, 14; Raymond A. Price-Murray, 14; Lee Louis Myers, 14; and Diemante J. Roberts, 15, will all be charged with false imprisonment and sexual assault and will be tried as adults.
Some teammates they were. Children can certainly be cruel, but to assault someone in this manner is just unthinkable. Their parents should be ashamed of themselves for producing kids who would do this to another human being.
Hillsborough County school superintendent MaryEllen Elia said, “”It’s tragic. We need to make sure that our students feel they can talk about this.”
To all of the kids out there who get bullied: You are not alone. It’s not easy to come forward & put a stop to it, but there will be someone who will listen. Maybe it’s a parent, maybe it’s a teacher, maybe it’s a coach, or maybe it’s the police. There are some sick assholes out there who will try to have power any way they can. Hang in there the best you can, and you’ll get your revenge when they’re serving you fries at McDonalds and you’re in your Porsche at the drive-thru. By having the courage to come forward like this boy did, even about things that happened in the past, you can end the bullying and even keep it happening to someone else.
Hopefully the unnamed victim in this story can recover from his physical and emotional injuries and go on to lead a normal life.
