Brashear targeted our best penalty killer with a late hit that was high and could've been an elbow to the head. That was a decision that was beyond the scope of a barbarian player like Brashear and most likely was called for by the Caps coach. Brashear should be suspended for as many games as it takes for Betts to return. If Betts doesn't return, then Brashear should be suspended indefinately. If the league truly wants to set an example of what unsportsmanlike conduct penalties are, then this would certainly define it. The league is a joke and Bettman has turned the NHL into Pro Wrestling. If this act of unsportsmanlike conduct goes without major suspension of Brashear, then we as fans know to forever forget about the NHL.
