Leonard Davis receives PETA award after rescuing horse
Say what you will about PETA, but every now and then they do actually do non-controversial things.
Leonard Davis used a tractor to help rescue a neighbor’s horse from some mud.
PETA awarded him a “Compassionate Action” award and a letter of appreciation.
Of course, we can’t have a story about Leonard “Big” Davis without some jokes, so here are some of the best from the AZCentral.com message boards:
“He had a false start when he started the tractor”“The horse got up, ran around the end, and sacked the quarterback”
“He actually moved a living creature. He still had to use a tractor to move it, which is no surprise since he never moved anything anywhere while in a cards uniform”
(Seriously though, good job, Leonard)
